Here at Black Forest Academy, our staff are educators, teachers, athletic coaches, advisers, counselors, resident assistants, dorm parents, and mentors. We have a passion for bringing excellence into all areas of a student’s experience here at BFA. There are currently 165 staff members with over 1,000 years experience combined. They come from all over the world: the United States of America, Canada, Australia, UK, Europe, and more.

Assistant Chaplain, Spiritual Life

Dani has a background in video editing, photography and design. Her passion, however, is not for media, but for people. She loves helping people process life in order to know Jesus better. She is currently pursuing further education in Biblical Counseling. Dani loves discussing sexuality issues, and even started a women's sexuality ministry while in college at John Brown University. In her oodles of free time, Dani loves to read or play board games.

The Stemples came to BFA in 2002. Sam is currently the Chaplain.

Sam is an MK from Vietnam / Malaysia, Jen is an MK from Jordan. Sam served as Youth Pastor in Plymouth, WI for 11 years before coming to BFA. The Stemples have 4 children and serve under the C&MA.

Served at BFA as an Resident Assitant in the Sonne boys' dorm in 2003-2005. Moved to Toronto in 2005 after getting married and served as a Youth Pastor for seven years before returning to BFA in August 2012.
