Here at Black Forest Academy, our staff are educators, teachers, athletic coaches, advisers, counselors, resident assistants, dorm parents, and mentors. We have a passion for bringing excellence into all areas of a student’s experience here at BFA. There are currently 165 staff members with over 1,000 years experience combined. They come from all over the world: the United States of America, Canada, Australia, UK, Europe, and more.

FinancePrior work and ministry experiences
Brad started out as an aircraft mechanic and after a few years worked as a spares engineer, reliability & maintainability engineer and logistic engineer for Bell Helicopter. During his time at Bell Helicopter he attended Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife have worked with a small German church in Leipzig, Germany for 13 years as pastor, Bible teacher, counselor and worked in leadership. Today he is working in the finance office at BFA.

Brad has the desire to serve God through helping others as God places him into various situations. Brad loved to come along side the small German church in Leipzig and help stabilize and encourage the believers there. He is now enjoying helping in the finance office.

Personnel Housing Coordinator, Assistant to Business Manager, Support StaffMyriam grew up in Germany and moved to Minnesota after marrying Gregg in 1987.
Throughout the years she has taught French and German part-time, primarily in colleges. For many years she was a full-time mom and housewife. She has also had her own cleaning and organizing business, as well as working at her local church part-time. Her short-term missions trip experiences were in England and France.
Myriam and Gregg have three sons. One is attending BFA, one is attending Freiburg University for the year and one lives in the US.
Being fluent in German, English (and French), as well as being familiar with both the German and American culture, Myriam enjoys utilizing these gifts in her varied roles at BFA and in the German business community.
