Welcome to the housing reservation request page for parents and prospective parents who are visiting Black Forest Academy. Please read the following before filling out the form below.

Whether you make your own reservations or request assistance from BFA, we thank you in advance for honoring any and all booking details including guidelines and payment fees for cancellations. In this way, you can help the institution continue to enjoy a good relationship with local businesses and the wider Kandern community.
General Information:
Any request for 3 or less nights stay will be booked into a hotel. The cost for local hotels is generally between 40 to 60 Euros/person/night. Cost per night includes breakfast but there will be NO kitchen facilities.
Requests for 4 or more nights can be booked into a gasthaus WITH kitchen facilities. Cost per night is typically 30 to 40 Euros for up to 2 persons. Each additional person would be an additional 10-15 Euros per night.
Cancellation:
Generally speaking it is not culturally acceptable to cancel housing reservations. Therefore please book only when you are certain you want the reservation.
The following cancellation fee schedule is fairly standard throughout the area.
- Up to 31 days prior…10% of cost of total reservation
- Up to 21 days prior…20%
- Up to 11 days prior…40%
- Under 11 days…80%
Booking:
By filling out the form below, this signifies that you:
- Agree to the conditions above
- Are asking BFA to book a reservation for you
- Give the school permission to charge your child’s account 100 Euros as a deposit
