Black Forest Academy is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International, the Council of International Schools, and the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges. The curriculum is designed to be challenging and rigorous in accordance with the standard of excellence at Black Forest Academy.

In addition to the core academic subjects such as Bible, Math, English, History, Science and Foreign Languages, students are offered elective courses which include Geography, Apologetics, Environmental Science, Journalism, Creative Writing, Graphic Design, Computer Programming, Industrial Arts, Statistics, and Economics.

Black Forest Academy maintains a library of college catalogs and assists students with college planning. BFA is a site for PSAT, SAT, ACT, CLEP, and Advanced Placement exams, and makes arrangements for students to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).


 

What is the Application Process?

Once you download and complete the Application Packet, you can send it either by mail, fax or email. Please make sure you include all application materials in one package. If the student is going to be living in a school residence, download the Residence (Dorm) Student Application packet as well. BFA was founded in 1956 by TeachBeyond, formerly Janz Team Ministries. It is an international Christian school providing an English language education for grades 4 through 12 (grade 1-3 are bilingual—English and German).
