Staff Application Procedure

Your journey to Black Forest Academy starts here

1. Fill out a pre-application form for one or more of our posted job openings
   You will be contacted with instructions pertaining to the BFA Staff Application
2. Complete the BFA Staff Application
3. Apply to a mission organization
   Collect references and fulfill mission organization application requirements
4. Interview with BFA for a specific job opening
5. Submission to the Director’s Team for review and approval to serve with BFA
   Pending acceptance from a mission organization

The BFA Recruitment Timeline is created to provide structure around the BFA application process.

• The dates listed do not constitute deadlines.
• October 1^st and December 1^st: In most cases, notification of application decisions will not be given. During this period we continue to diligently work on your file.
• December 1^st and December 14^th: If, given a reasonable timeframe, you have completed all application pieces a notification will be sent.
• After December 1^st: We shift into a rolling application process. Your applications will be reviewed and considered in the order they are received.

Mission Organization

All staff members come through an international mission organization. As such, each staff member must provide his or her own financial support through gifts from churches, family, friends, or personal savings. You should begin evaluating which mission organization you would prefer to be affiliated with while serving at BFA. The sponsoring mission—here at BFA—is TeachBeyond.
