LEARNING AT BFA

The accredited curriculum at Black Forest Academy (BFA) is challenging and rigorous, in accordance with a standard of excellence built over more than 60 years in operation. All of our classes are taught in English.

We prepare students for further studies around the world, with most of our graduates attending university in the US, Canada and Europe. BFA offers a US High School Diploma and the AP International Diploma (APID) for students who score high enough on the required AP courses. The APID is integral for our graduates who are pursuing further education abroad.

In addition to the core academic subjects such as Bible, Math, English, History, Science and Foreign Languages, students are offered elective courses including Geography, Art and Music, Personal Fitness, Graphic Design, Computer Programming, Industrial Arts, Creative Writing, Journalism and much more!

Black Forest Academy maintains a library of college catalogs and assists students with college planning. BFA is a site for PSAT, SAT, ACT, and Advanced Placement exams, and can makes arrangements for students to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and Cambridge IGCSE exams.
